I checked the mozilla xhr within the past year and confirmed that patch by torproject hasn’t been merged upstream ~~ firefox still reads/stores the user’s FIRSTNAME LASTNAME during each startup. …and the devs hem-hawed, kicked the can, and FINALLY merged the patch a few months ago (May 2018)

It sat, unaddressed, until 2017 when some kind soul (NOT one of the torproject devs) submitted a code patch… I reported this issue to TorProject in 2014:
